We continue to conduct training on first aid in combat conditions.
The training is conducted by a specialist, emergency physician Andrii Okhrimovskyi. Andrii Oleksandrovych also periodically conducts training among the servicemen of the NPU, NGU, and BGSU.
Employees of the institution have the opportunity to gain theoretical knowledge on the provision of premedical care, and practically work out various situational tasks. The training is conducted according to the TCCC/MARCH protocol, namely:
1. Work in the zone "under fire":
- Stopping critical bleeding (tourniquet application, use of bandages, hemostatic agents);
- Ways to evacuate the wounded from the battlefield;
2. Work in the sheltered zone:
- Control of critical bleeding;
- Restoration of airway patency;
- Control of breathing;
- Control of blood circulation
- Hypothermia and head injuries;
- Pain relief / antibiotic administration/control of other wounds/fractures.
