is a structural unit of the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region", which organizes and carries out activities on pension, social and humanitarian issues.
The main tasks of the sector on social and humanitarian issues are:
1. Timely and quality service to pensioners of the system of internal affairs directly at their place of residence.
2. Interaction with the bodies that appoint and pay pensions in accordance with the law, and with other state authorities on social protection and pension provision of pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
In order to perform the assigned tasks, the sector on social and humanitarian issues:
1. Receives applications and documents from persons who have acquired the right to a pension in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Pensions for Persons Discharged from Military Service and Some Other Persons", and checks their correctness and compliance.
2. Accepts applications and documents that give the right to receive certificates of combatants, "Veteran of the Internal Affairs Bodies" and the corresponding badges, forms of coupons for the right to receive travel documents (tickets) with a 50% discount on their cost in accordance with the law.
3. Accepts applications and documents for family members of veterans of internal affairs bodies to receive certificates of eligibility for benefits in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On the Status of Veterans of Military Service, Veterans of Internal Affairs Bodies, Veterans of the National Police and Some Other Persons and Their Social Protection".
4. Submits to the authorized structural subdivision of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine materials on the appointment (recalculation) of pensions to pensioners of the internal affairs bodies, persons entitled to receive a pension in connection with the loss of the breadwinner, documents that are the basis for the registration of benefits, certificates, registration of certificates of financial support, etc.
5. Prepares information for issuing certificates on the amount of financial support for the recalculation of pensions and for the appointment of pensions in connection with the loss of the breadwinner.
6. Ensures the issuance of certificates, badges, letters, coupons, certificates of eligibility for benefits, etc. to persons who have been granted the appropriate status.
7. Considers appeals, applications, and complaints on pension and social security of persons dismissed from the Ministry of Internal Affairs and their family members, as well as other correspondence on issues within the competence of the sector.
8. Prepares documents to the Fund for Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities for payment of compensation for unused sanatorium vouchers to persons with disabilities from among pensioners of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine.
9. At the request of pensioners draws up and issues certificates on the amount of financial support.
10. Constantly cooperates with the Main Office of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region, the liquidation commission of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine in Chernivtsi region, the personnel service of the Main Office of the National Police in Chernivtsi region, the Union of Veterans of Internal Affairs in Chernivtsi region on issues of pension and social security.
