is a structural subdivision of the State Institution "Territorial Medical Association of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Chernivtsi region", where research is carried out to establish the diagnosis, control the effect of treatment and provide laboratory information on the state of health of the population. In its work, the Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory is guided by the current legislation, and regulatory documents governing the conduct of laboratory tests.
The main task of the clinical diagnostic laboratory is the quality of laboratory tests, the organization of taking, storage, and transportation of samples, the introduction of new methods of laboratory tests that have high analytical accuracy and diagnostic reliability, as well as new technologies and advanced forms of work, improving the quality of laboratory tests by conducting quality control of research, advanced training of staff by attending medical and nursing conferences, information courses, and internships.
The duties of the clinical diagnostic laboratory are the high-quality and timely performance of laboratory tests, timely notification of the doctors of the hospital (with polyclinic) about the results of laboratory tests, and economical and efficient use of laboratory equipment and reagents.
The clinical diagnostic laboratory is provided with high-quality modern equipment: a hematological analyzer, biochemical analyzer, coagulometer, photocolorimeter, and laboratory centrifuge. All equipment undergoes metrological verification in time. The clinical diagnostic laboratory is provided with quality reagents, and rapid tests for the determination of hepatitis C, hepatitis B, HIV, and syphilis, which have the appropriate quality certificates.
The clinical diagnostic laboratory performs:
Hematological tests (complete blood count, leukocyte count, reticulocytes, platelets);
General clinical examinations (general urine test, Nechiporenko test, coprocitograma, fecal test for helminths, general sputum test, determination of bile pigments in the urine, urine test for total protein, urine test for total sugar, determination of diastase (alpha-amylase) in the urine, smear for Neisser's gonococcus);
Biochemical tests (total protein, total bilirubin, direct and indirect bilirubin, transaminases, gamma-glutamyl transferase, glucose, urea, creatinine, cholesterol, triglycerides, urinary acidity);
Immunological studies (C-reactive protein, rheumatoid factor anti-streptolysin-O, seroglycoids, blood group determination, Rh blood group);
Hemostasis study (correlogram, blood coagulation, and bleeding time)
The clinical diagnostic laboratory is located on the fourth floor of the hospital's polyclinic (with a polyclinic). The research is carried out on modern equipment, namely: the hematological analyzer Abacus Junior 30 on a semi-automatic 4-channel coagulometer Coag 4D and automatic biochemical analyzer Sinnova DS - 301.
Reception of tests is carried out from 8.00 to 11.00.
